CROSSFIT AURORA (the “Corporation”)- REFUND POLICY

The following refund policy takes into consideration the fact that pre-paid memberships are typically sold at a discount over the standard monthly fee, and also recognizes the administrative processes (processes with third parties including banking institutions) necessary to process a refund.

1. Consistent with the membership contract signed with the client, cancellation of membership may only be done on 30 days written notice. Any refunds which may be provided pursuant to this policy will only be effective at the expiration of the 30 day notice period.

2. Except in the sole discretion of management, pre-paid memberships are non-refundable.

3. Notwithstanding section 2, management may consider a refund on pre-paid memberships in the following circumstances: (a) where a client provides a doctor’s note indicating that the client is no longer able to participate in the activity on account of injury or illness; or (b) where a client has not attended any sessions after payment of membership fee. The ultimate decision for whether to process a refund in the circumstances noted above rests with management of the Corporation.

4. Notwithstanding section 2, where management, in its discretion believes that extenuating circumstances exist to justify a refund of a pre-paid membership, and management decides to allow a refund of a pre-paid membership, all refunds shall be only for the proportionate amount of time remaining on the unexpired term of the membership, LESS the following discounts on the amount refunded:

5.  In the event that the Corporation removes a client from the premises for any reason whatsoever, and/or cancels a client’s membership for not adhering to the terms and conditions associated with the granting of a membership, there shall be no refunds on any pre-paid membership fees.
