Crystal graduated from the McKay Massage and Hydrotherapy 2200 hour Diploma program, located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in December 2004. Upon graduation she moved to Edmonton where she began her career as a Registered Massage Therapist working in various salons and spas across the city. Throughout her 6 year career she has had the invaluable privilege to provide treatments for such people as her Excellency, Michaelle Jean, Governor General of Canada, her honor, Beverly McLachlin, Chief Justice of Canada and multiple NHL players. Crystal currently operates Naturalibrium Massage Therapy, located at CrossFit Aurora, 8303 Argyll Rd, Edmonton.
Massage Therapy is a passion for Crystal, as she feels it provides a natural means to balance the body both physically and mentally. Speeding in muscle recovery and tissue repair after a hard workout, Massage works by clearing out the lactic acid and trigger points which accumulate in the muscles. Massage therapy can provide relief for a variety of conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, piriformis syndrome, shin splints, rotator cuff injuries, whiplash, tension headaches, migraines, strains, sprains, and spasms etc. Massage Therapy plays a key role in stress reduction and relaxation by calming the nervous system and increasing a sense of overall well being.
